In 2023 the Bulgarian Studies Association (BSA) offers two travel grants up to $700 to subsidize the travel of BSA members – faculty and research specialists who permanently reside in Bulgaria to present their papers at the 55th Annual Convention of the Association for Slavic, East European, & Eurasian Studies (ASEEES) in Philadelphia, USA.
Grant applications will be judged on intellectual merit of the paper topic. Priority will be given to candidates who are first-time convention presenters or scholars whose institutions offer limited funding and had their ASEEES Travel Grant application rejected.
